Here is a very pleasing cluster of thick terminated celestine crystals collected by local rock hounds in the 1960's from the Maybee Quarry, Maybee, Monroe Co., Michigan. All the crystals in this cluster are terminated and display smooth crystal faces with a powdery blue color that seems to become more saturated towards the center of the cluster. Nice complete formation of the crystals and very little damage except to the underside where the specimen was removed from the matrix make for an extremely aesthetic display specimen.
