Here is an excellent specimen of skeletal formation quartz crystals in a nice chunky cluster with some very well formed and terminated crystals. The skeletal formation shows very well in this specimen with nearly every crystal displaying the classic "hoppered" divots on some faces! The iron coating and inclusions make for an amazing contrast to the glassy whites of the quartz crystals. This specimen is from the Diamond Hill Mine, Abbeville, S. Carolina and was collected by Jacob & Heidi of New Era Collections in December of 2014.
