An amazing quartz specimen with blue/purple fluorite cubes frozen in between generations of the quartz crystal! The quartz has a complete termination at the top and beginning of a partial one at the base with smooth silky luster and transparency. There are a few casts or negatives of other previously attached crystals on the back side.
The fluorite inside displays deeply saturated blue to purple color and well defined shape! There is a larger cluster of fluorite towards the top of the specimen but smaller cubes are scattered throughout the specimen and appear to be included at varying depths possibly suggesting these inclusions are from multiple generations of growths! This specimen is from the unique and possibly one time find from Amborompotsy Commune, Ambatofinandrahana District, Amoron'i Mania Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar.
